Job summary

Allied Universal in Orlando, FL seeks a Part-Time Security Officer to safeguard clients across aerospace/defense locations. You will monitor access, patrolling assigned areas and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances and verify credentials and visitor authorization.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Respond calmly to incidents and document activities per site policy.
• Maintain daily activity and incident reports.

Pay Rate: $23.11 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas; verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and visitor or access-related records in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
