It operates the historic AAA Four Diamond Inn and Ranch, restaurants, gift shops, and the world's lowest elevation golf course. Both hotels are open year-round and feature swimming pools fed by natural springs.

Job Summary:

The Security Guard (also called Fire Life Safety Officer) provides personal safety for guests, employees, and visitors. Responsibilities include surveillance, protection of staff and visitors, detecting suspicious behavior, and preventing vandalism, theft, and other crimes. Additional duties include acting as a first responder, firefighting, and transportation.

The Details:

• Position Type: Full-time, Year-round
• Start Dates: As soon as possible, next available check-in date (approximately three weeks)
• Pay: $19.25/hour
• Schedule: Typically 40 hours/week, 5 days/week (may include weekends, evenings, holidays)

Responsibilities:

• Perform public safety functions, handle emergencies, disturbances, threats
• Maintain a safe environment for all
• Patrol property, observe safety risks, report issues
• Conduct inspections and patrols
• Report violations of policies, laws
• Other duties as assigned
• Demonstrate professional, courteous behavior with guests and staff

Qualifications:

• Current driver’s license
• Previous security experience preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Proficiency in computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet)
• Willing to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willing to obtain)
• Follow instructions with integrity and respect
• Leadership and problem-solving skills (for supervisory roles)
• Quick thinking and sound judgment
• High School Diploma
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors, walk on varied terrains
