The Village At Summerville is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Security Guard to join our team to create a warm hospitality experience for all our residents, staff, and visitors. In this position, you will enjoy working with a passionate team to provide quality service throughout our community.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for the Security and Safety of our Residents, personnel, and our community.
  • Know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.

What is good to have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional manner.
  • Valid SC driver’s license.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Able to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
  • Climb stairs or ramps occasionally during shift.
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
  • 1 or 2 years of related experience.
