Job summary

IPS Security is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to protect customers, employees, and property. You will patrol store premises, monitor CCTV, and respond to incidents with professionalism and urgency.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, active BSIS guard card, and strong communication skills. Open availability and willingness to travel to multiple locations are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior security guard experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems/equipment.
• Must have an active BSIS security guard card.
• Open availability required.
• Willing to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Patrol store premises to ensure safety of customers, employees, and property.
• Monitor surveillance footage and respond to incidents or emergencies.
• Enforce store policies including theft and loss prevention.
• Assist with investigation of thefts and security incidents.
• Document and report all incidents and emergencies.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
