Job summary

Allied Universal in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard Morning Patrol to protect clients across multiple sectors and provide courteous, professional service.

You will conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access points, deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and document activities, with shifts on Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while helping to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
