Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals at a government healthcare location while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, public areas, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions and safety concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner following post orders.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation on patrols and incidents.

Pay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue: 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals at a government healthcare location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, public areas, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and potential security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
