Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed Tablet Patrol) in Channahon, IL. You will protect client sites in manufacturing and industrial settings, patrol assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Tablet Patrol Reporting in Channahon, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use a computer or tablet as needed. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, including the building exterior, perimeter, parking areas, and access points.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, patrol activities, and incidents accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
