Responsibilities

• Conduct full rounds of the property every 30 minutes to 1 hour.
• Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs).
• Screen all residents before entry.
• Perform bag checks as needed.
• Assist staff with room checks as necessary.
• Maintain safety, order and professionalism at all times.
• Monitor and secure the Transitional Living Center premises.
• Manage conflicts and de-escalate situations with effective communication.
• Conduct regular CCTV surveillance to identify threats.
• Administer first aid and CPR as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement as required.

We’re looking for sharp, reliable, and professional security officers to join our team at a transitional living facility in San Jose. Military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

• Valid BSIS Guard Card
• Power to Arrest and all current BSIS training certificates
• Strong presence, alertness, and communication skills
• Military background preferred (not required)
• Must be punctual and detail-oriented

Responsibilities Include but not limited:

• Conducting full rounds of the property every 30 minutes to 1 hour
• Completing detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs)
• Screening all residents before entry
• Conducting bag checks as needed
• Assisting staff with room checks when necessary
• Maintaining safety, order, and professionalism at all times
• Monitor and secure the premises of the Transitional Living Center to ensure the safety of residents and staff.

• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify and address potential security threats.
• Administer first aid and CPR as needed, maintaining readiness for emergency situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and uphold all security protocols and regulations.
