Position Highlights
Planning & Operations is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for learning, research, and work through the highest quality trained security personnel. As an unarmed Security Guard, it is your job to assist in maintaining the safety and security of students, staff, faculty, all other visitors, as well as assist in the general safekeeping of the facilities and grounds. The Phoenix Biomedical Campus (PBC) Planning and Operations team handles campus services such as security, emergency preparedness, maintenance, custodial, motor pool, and utilities. Due to the nature of our educational environment and commitment to the safety of campus, this position will be expected to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
This position is assigned to the night shift, with a schedule of 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., including participation in a weekend rotation.
The Campus is a 30-acre, urban medical and bioscience campus with more than 1.7 million square-feet of biomedical-related research, academic, and clinical facilities with plans for more. It is the only site where you will find all 3 of Arizona's public universities in one location conducting and collaborating in research.
