As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s caring, reliable approach.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, including directing guests and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
