Job summary

Allied Universal in Shreveport, LA is seeking a full-time Unarmed Security Guard to monitor and protect a commercial office property, provide customer service to tenants and visitors, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

You will conduct patrols, control access points, and coordinate with management and emergency responders, with weekly pay at $12 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and able to pass background checks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as part of employment.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Security Patrol in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Wed: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Thur: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Fri: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial office property.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office buildings, parking areas, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior and/or maintenance concerns, and document observations according to site procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with property management, tenants, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
