As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Premises Protection in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials or delivery information as directed, and maintaining visitor and vehicle records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
