• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, including verifying credentials and directing guests per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and notifying supervision.
• Complete daily activity reports and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Must have valid NJ Drivers License for at least 1 year

Pay Rate: $19.50 Per Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, including verifying credentials and directing guests in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
