• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and transit patrons by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of property, transit areas, interiors, parking facilities, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas; report suspicious activity, hazards, property damage, and policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining professionalism.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol government and commercial real estate locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. • Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and transit patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property, transit-adjacent areas, building interiors, parking facilities, and perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas; observe visitor and contractor activity; and report suspicious activity, hazards, property damage, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and maintain a professional presence while interacting with diverse members of the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
