Allied Universal® in Peru, IL is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Patrol to serve clients in a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor areas, deter incidents, provide excellent customer service, and report observations with integrity.

This unarmed patrol role offers a $20.75 per hour pay rate, a full-time schedule (Thu-Sun 2:00 PM–10:00 PM) and opportunities to grow within a caring, team-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, and parking.
• Monitor access, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, report concerns.
• Complete logs and reports, sharing information with leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $20.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouse spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
