Responsibilities

• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify visitor/contractor credentials.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and responders as needed.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal training and post orders.

As a Security Guard Full Time Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and personnel, and uphold Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility operations location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate entry, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and public emergency responders as needed.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal training, applicable laws, and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
