Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks an armed patrol driver for a government location in New Port Richey, FL. You will provide security, monitor access, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role is full-time with a minimum of 30 hours per week. A valid driver’s license and armed guard credentials are preferred, and you will complete necessary training and background checks.

Qualifications

Security Guard Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post involves operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate law enforcement or emergency personnel.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or appropriate authorities.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
