Job summary

Allied Universal in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Security Guard for the Full Time Afternoons shift to help protect people and property at a manufacturing and industrial site. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service.

This role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and reliability. The schedule runs Mon–Sun 8:00 PM–4:00 AM with pay of $18.58 per hour, plus benefits including medical and retirement plans and career growth

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity per site procedures.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and promptly communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
