Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Access Control Administrator in Charlotte, NC. You will manage visitor and employee access, monitor entry points, and respond to security incidents while delivering strong customer service.

Responsibilities include patrolling, verifying credentials, and coordinating with site leadership to maintain a secure environment. Minimum roles include badge experience, 21+ age, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monitor and control entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials, recording visitor and contractor information, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Assist with managing vehicle, driver, and trailer access at gates and loading areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
