Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Milwaukee, WI to provide security at a fixed-site with flexibility to pick up additional shifts across sites. The position offers a $20.90/hour pay rate and anchored shifts to ensure reliable hours.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols, incident response, and excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. This role supports a food and beverage production location with standard security procedures.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements, including verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Observe vehicle and pedestrian activity around shipping and receiving areas and help maintain orderly access for authorized personnel, deliveries, and outbound shipments.

Pay Rate: $20.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
