Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for North Charleston, SC, to protect clients across diverse settings. The role requires customer service excellence and the ability to operate a computer or tablet to log activities.

The position is full-time, on-site with weekly/daily pay options and training provided for licensing. Prior security, corrections, or law enforcement experience is valued, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age for role
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Starting Base Pay: $21.67 per hour

Workdays Available: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Security Experience 1+ years

• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for role
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
