Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and assist with directions, escorts, and credential questions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, documenting observations and notifying site contacts.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Culver City, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri 10:00 PM - 06:45 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions, escorts, and credential-related questions as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
