Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced at our Three Rivers, MI site. This role offers reliable, flexible hours with a fixed shift and the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $16.71 per hour. Responsibilities include providing customer service to employees, visitors and contractors, responding to incidents, patrolling the site, monitoring access, and documenting reports.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Site Patrol in Three Rivers, MI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.71 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
