Allied Universal, a leading security and facilities services company, seeks a part-time Security Guard Enhanced for Jacksonville, FL. You will provide customer service at a logistics site, perform access control, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional presence.

This role features a fixed night shift (Mon 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, and a pay rate of $15.24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• 18+ or 21+ for armed roles accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel at a logistics location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, check credentials, and document activity per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, entry points, trailers, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, solution-oriented manner and file required reports.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations with professional communication.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Screening in Jacksonville, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and document visitor, driver, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, entry points, trailers, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, damaged property, and policy violations while maintaining professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
