Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Courtesy Patrol to provide reliable security at an assigned site with anchored shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts.

You will monitor access points, respond to incidents calmly, conduct patrols, document events with incident reports, and uphold site policies. A year of security experience and a high school diploma are preferred; CPR/First Aid is a plus; pay is $25 per hour.

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including public areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Courtesy Patrol in San Francisco, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security‑related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
