Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Security Guard / Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) position.


Under minimal direct supervision, this role ensures security and safety of the community by patrolling the buildings and grounds and monitoring the gatehouse. During emergency situations, determines nature and extent of illness or injury, or magnitude of the incident, to establish first aid procedures, until further professional assistance can arrive. Conducts an assessment, administers CPR, AED, and/or prescribed first-aid treatment at site of emergency and contacts outside emergency services. Provides support during the day hours on the weekends and on the evening and night hours for residents and employees.








Requirements




The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • One year of experience in the security and/or emergency response field
  • Active Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification and/or Emergency Medical Response (EMR) certification is required
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license

Pay Range




$17.36 - $20.65 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
