No prior experience or training is required, but candidates should be able to obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate and a NM Driver's License.
$17.00 - $25.49 Hourly
$35,350 - $53,024 Annually

Incumbent will have an obligation to manage its situations in such a way that it minimizes any possibilities of injury to clients, staff and other persons visiting the premises as well as provide security, loss control, and protection to the New Mexico Behavior Health Institute at Las Vegas (NMBHI), Community Based Services (CBS), and San Miguel/Mora Mental Health Services.
No Prior Experience Or Training Required.
This position will perform work in both indoor and outdoor settings with exposure to potential hazards that may include but are not limited to, dealing with trespassers, vandals, and/or unruly clients. This position may require extended periods of walking and standing. Effective 01/01/2015, the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute became a 100% Tobacco Free/E-Cigarette Free Campus. As such, no tobacco, tobacco products or E-Cigarette products are permitted on any part of the campus.
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement and all terms/conditions of that agreement apply and must be adhered to.
