Job Description

We are hiring a Security Officer to work at a Financial Investment Bank Firm located in Menlo Park, CA.

• Pay Rate: $25.65 / Hour
• Shift: Designated Flex, must be available on weekends

Requirements

• Active CA Guard Card
• Security experience of 1 or more years
• Intermediate to advanced technology skills
• Level 1 Certificate (Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force Certificate)
• Availability for weekend work as needed by client, demonstrating flexibility on scheduling
• Use of personal electronic devices while on duty is prohibited

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments varying by site

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Subject to background check and drug screening in accordance with laws
• Licensing requirements as per state/local laws; may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions
