Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard - Banking Center in Bronx, NY for a part-time enhanced role with fixed anchor shifts and the opportunity to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings. Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, ATMs, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications per site requirements.

As a Security Guard - Banking Center in Bronx, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:15 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
