Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting entry, and directing individuals per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations and escalate as needed to site contacts or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate access logs and incident reports following Allied Universal procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Authorization Review in DAKOTA CITY, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and help maintain an orderly environment. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting security-related operations through teamwork and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the food and beverage production location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, business facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
