GardaWorld is hiring part-time to full-time Security Officers for the York area. You’ll work at different sites, with open availability, including weekends and holidays, and get paid daily through DailyPay.

Responsibilities

• Screen trucks at the gate and verify driver paperwork.
• Patrol building interiors and exteriors at various points of the shift.
• Log extensive data and use computer programs for reporting.
• Answer phones and email correspondence.
• Check and log visitor and employee access; enforce procedures and standards.
• Provide rapid response in emergencies and perform lock-up tours.

Part-time to Full Time (8-32 hrs/week) Security Officer – Work according to your availability! Every work day is different! Fill in at different sites where coverage is needed.

We are looking for Part-time Security Guards that are looking for flexible work hours and are willing to work at least one shift per pay period (every 2 weeks). Work when you want and make extra supplemental income.

Compensation: $20 / hour
Shifts: Must have open availability especially on weekends, Holidays, and off-shift
Location: York area and surrounding areas within 1 hour
Requires 1 shift worked per pay period

About the job:

• Valid Driver's License required. Must have reliable transportation.
• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You are well equipped to handle a fast-paced working environment as well as a laid-back working environment.
• You are flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes in job responsibilities.
• You remain alert and vigilant to all happenings on the site.
• Extensive computer proficiency is helpful for some job sites.
• You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities vary per site and may include (but are not limited to) :

• Screening trucks at the gate before they enter the site, such as seal cutting and checking driver paperwork.
• Patrols upstairs/downstairs and inside/outside the building at different points throughout your shift.
• Paper log and extensive computer data entry.
• Using computer truck yard management programs throughout your day.
• Answering phones and email correspondence.
• Checking and logging visitor and employee access
• Metal Detectors/Wanding at entrance
• Vehicle Patrols
• Lock-up tours
• Emergency response

Your background:

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)

• You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process

• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
