Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services U.S. in Dallas (TX) is seeking an armed School Resource Officer (Level 3 license) to join our professional security team. You will secure the school premises after hours/activities, observe and report, and provide rapid response in critical situations.

Excellent customer service and strong written reporting are essential. The position offers a Monday-Friday shift from 2:00pm to 7:00pm with a starting wage of $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED is required.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Level 3 security license or ability to obtain one.
• At least 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving history.
• Demonstrate a stable work history and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Securing car pool line after school release.
• Securing after school activities until everyone has left premises.
• Assisting staff by observing and reporting.
• Excellent customer service is essential.
• Observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at assigned location.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed reports.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.

Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-7:00pm

Compensation: $25.00/hr

Your background:

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• You're able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• If you have Security, Military, Corrections, or Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a Level 3 state security license or ability to obtain one
• At least 21years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• Valid driver's license with good driving history
• Demonstrate a stable work history
• Have reliable transportation
• Able to walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time
