Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Armed Perimeter Patrol in Bunn, NC to join a trusted security team. This part-time role focuses on visible presence, patrols, incident response, and consistent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors.

• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and/or residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas, documenting observations and reporting unusual or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders according to site procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify identification and authorization as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited items.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
