Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Access Administration Driver in Sulphur, LA to manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a professional, welcoming environment at a chemical/petrochemical location. This is a driving role requiring a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while enforcing site-specific access-control procedures and security policies at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor or contractor access documentation, and maintain access logs.
• Screen visitors, deliveries, and vehicles according to site procedures, directing authorized individuals to correct locations and deterring unauthorized access.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular/random patrols of assigned access points and perimeter locations and report unusual conditions or policy violations.

As a Security Guard Access Administration Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, where you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a professional, welcoming environment. You will help to deter incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and attentive customer service while supporting security-related operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor or contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access logs.
• Screen visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles in accordance with site procedures, directing authorized individuals to appropriate locations and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations while reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
