Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Coordination Driver in Sulphur, LA to safeguard clients across multiple industries, including chemical/petrochemical sites. You will manage site entry, monitor access points, and perform patrols with professional communication and a strong customer-service mindset.

The role requires a valid driver's license, relevant security experience, and the ability to work a demanding schedule.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience are required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and support controlled entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, perimeter locations, parking areas, and restricted zones to deter unauthorized access.
• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and access-control exceptions in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

As a Security Officer Access Coordination Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter incidents through a visible presence and professional communication. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Thur: 04:30 PM - 04:30 AM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 04:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and access-control exceptions in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
