Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Access Control in Topeka, KS to protect a food and beverage manufacturing location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and provide customer service while following site procedures and emergency plans.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, and compliance with drug screening and licensing as required by law. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly pay and shift schedule.

• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Support access control for deliveries, vendors, and contractors, including directing individuals to designated check-in areas and communicating relevant requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the facility perimeter, parking areas, and surrounding business areas to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $17.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM


• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM


• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM


• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM


• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
