Job summary

JBS Foods in Omaha is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to protect the plant, monitor activity, and enforce site security procedures.

You will perform hourly rounds, check trailer temps, room temps, and gates, monitor entry points, weigh trailers, and handle after-hours switchboard duties.

The role requires clear communication under stress, attention to detail, and a professional attitude; security experience is a plus, with HS diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong computer skills preferred.
• Able to walk long distances and navigate stairs in all weather.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication under stress.
• Attention to detail and professional demeanor.
• Security experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
