Job summary

JBS USA–Omaha is seeking a Security Guard to monitor plant activity and premises on site. You will perform hourly rounds, manage access control for employees and vehicles, and ensure safety by weighing trailers and maintaining secure operations.

Ideal candidates have English proficiency, the ability to work without direct supervision, and the stamina for all-weather duties. Prior security experience is a plus; HS diploma or GED preferred. This role requires flexibility in shifts.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to walk over 1 mile on varied terrain in all weather.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Effective under stress and attentive to detail.
• Professional attitude and adaptability to shifts.
• Previous security experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

• Weight master scales, weighing trailers in and out.
• Answering switchboard after hours.
• Billing loads.
• Follow and implement company policies.
• Operate company owned vehicles
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and operability
• Receive shipments of supplies and raw materials

Qualifications

Strong Computer Skills Preferred

• Ability to walk more than one mile, on varying terrain, in all weather and up/down stairs
