Nashua, NH School District (SAU No. 42) is hiring a School Security Guard to provide security services for various schools in the district. Responsibilities include monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and maintaining safety protocols.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and two years of experience in a security role. This position requires physical fitness and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
POSITION: SCHOOL SECURITY GUARD
LOCATIONS: Nashua High School South/North/District Wide
WORK YEAR: School Year, 6:30am to 2:30pm
STARTING: ASAP
SALARY RANGE: $21.40/hr (Grade 1) after 90 day probationary period. During probationary period, the wage rate will be $2.00 less.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and at least two (2) years experience working in security or police field, with a thorough knowledge of associated procedures and methods. Experience working in an academic (school district or college/university) or similar institutional environment is preferred but not required.
Physical ability to perform assigned duties including the ability to walk, bend, sit and stand for long periods of time and in all kinds of weather; climb stairs, & ladders, lift and carry objects weighing up to one hundred (100) pounds, with assistance. Ability to work evenings and weekends as duties dictate.
