Job summary

LAZ Parking in Denver seeks an Events Parking Security Guard for LAZ Live. This part-time/full-time, non-exempt role supports event parking operations, guards facilities, and helps guests stay safe and welcomed.

You will patrol lots and venues, monitor activity, enforce rules, report incidents, and assist security and staff. We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, paid training, uniforms, EAP, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of parking lots, garages, entrances, exits, and event areas.
  • Monitor guest and vehicle activity for suspicious behavior, safety hazards, and potential security concerns.
  • Enforce facility rules, parking policies, and client requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of emergency procedures and assist during incidents as directed.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports documenting incidents, accidents, and unusual activities.
  • Provide visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity.
  • Report safety hazards and coordinate with management on corrective actions.
  • Assist local law enforcement, emergency responders, and venue security personnel when necessary.
  • Provide courteous assistance and directions to guests.
  • Promote a safe, welcoming, and professional environment.
  • Assist guests with general parking-related questions and concerns.
  • De-escalate conflicts and address issues professionally whenever possible.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining safety and security standards.

Schedule & Availability

This position supports event parking operations, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak event periods. Flexibility to work varying schedules based on event needs is required.

This role supports guests, team members, clients, and property by monitoring activity, enforcing facility rules, reporting incidents, and responding appropriately to potential security concerns.

What You'll Do

Security & Safety Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required


  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Minimum 18 years of age.

  • Valid driver's license preferred.

Preferred


  • Security, law enforcement, military, parking, hospitality, or customer service experience.

  • Current security guard license or certification, where required by state or local regulations.

  • Experience working in large event venues, sports facilities, concert venues, or convention centers.

  • CPR, First Aid, or emergency response certifications.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

  • Lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.

  • Bend, stoop, squat, and move frequently throughout a shift.

  • Verbally communicate clearly in noisy event environments.
