Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a vigilant Security Associate to protect guests, employees, and property. Respond to emergencies, investigate disturbances, and complete incident reports while maintaining courtesy and security standards.

Expect patrols of interior hallways, lobby, stairwells, exterior areas, and monitoring locks and lighting. Must be able to stand for long periods, pass background checks, and have a valid ID; CPR/First Aid training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Criminal background must be clean.
• Valid government-issued ID.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Protect the safety of guests, employees, and the property; respond to emergencies and complete incident reports.
• Patrol interior hallways, lobby areas, stairwells; patrol exterior sidewalks, parking lots, and pool area; ensure door and gate locks are functioning.
• Check lighting and locks; report outages to maintenance for next-day fixes.
• Check in with front desk in 30-minute intervals; assist other departments when needed.
• Escort loiterers or unregistered guests off the property; maintain courteous guest interactions.

Protect the safety of the guests, the employees, and the hotel at all times.Respond to all emergencies that take place on property, notify management and other department personnel, and complete written incident reports.Respond to and investigate any guests concerns, disturbances, or complaints.Be alert and report any suspicious activity or dangerous behavior.Patrol interior hallways, lobby areas, and stairwells.Patrol all exterior sidewalks, parking lots, and the pool area checking to make sure all door locks and gate locks are working properly.Check in with front desk in thirty-minute intervals.Pick up trash and make sure that all common areas are free of debrisLoiterers that are unregistered guests should be escorted off the property.Check to make sure all parking lots and building lighting is working. Report any light outages on the maintenance log so they can be fixed the next day.Be courteous to guests and offer customer service at all times.Complete the security shift log and communicate all activity encountered during your shift.Security Personnel should not be in a vacant guest room for any reason.
