Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a security team member for the summer season, patrolling parking lots, checking bags and employee badges, and enforcing park rules while safeguarding guests and property.

You will work up to 29 hours per week at $15.50 per hour, with emphasis on safety, composure in emergencies, and reliable attendance. The role offers valuable law-enforcement exposure and benefits during the summer program in Arlington, Texas.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid Texas Level II License.
• Must be able to work Friday and Saturday nights.
• Able to lift, carry, and balance a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Physical qualifications to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol parking lots and control metal detectors to protect guests and property.
• Enforce park policies and procedures while remaining calm in emergencies.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Maintain security vigilance in a fast-paced environment.
• Observe guest behavior and screen for security risks.
• Assist with security operations as needed.

Overview

Rule breakers better watch out when you’re on our security team. You’ll spend the summer patrolling parking lots and controlling metal detectors, checking everything from guests’ bags to employee badges. You’ll protect our people and our property – all while securing valuable law experience and rewarding benefits.

Working up to 29 hours a week depending on operational needs with a pay of $15.50/hr.
