Job summary

AGS - American Gaming Systems in Atlanta seeks a Security Analyst to monitor, triage, and respond to security events, maintain governance, risk, and compliance tasks under the Senior IT Security Manager. This role is the first line of defense for security alerts and employee-reported threats.

You will handle alert triage, phishing analysis, access reviews, risk register updates, and coordination with IT, Legal, Compliance, HR, and business units; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in security analyst, security operations, governance and risk, or IT operations.
• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and enterprise ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security tooling, dashboards, and alert queues for indicators of malicious activity.
• Perform initial triage on security alerts to determine validity, severity, and scope.
• Provide first-tier response to active security events using playbooks and escalate with summary findings.
• Review employee-reported phishing and suspicious emails and take protective action when needed.
• Maintain records of security events, actions, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate access reviews with system and data owners; track completion and remediation.
• Review third‑party and vendor security documentation and summarize findings for risk decisions.
• Operate the enterprise risk register and track treatment plans to closure.
• Support internal/external audits, certification, and regulatory assessments with evidence.
• Produce recurring security activity and metrics reporting for leadership.
