In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting the data and systems that support over 80,000 employees and 13 million residents of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a Security Forensic Analyst, you will provide consultative expertise on complex information security forensic matters to the Commonwealth CISO, while collaborating with various IT security teams and leadership across the Commonwealth. Your work is reviewed by the senior forensic analyst, ensuring the effectiveness of the overall information security program. Work involves directing and managing all aspects of the Incident Response process, including archiving, collecting, investigating, and remediating security incidents, as well as assisting human resources with evidence collection pertaining to investigations. You will have the opportunity to utilize your specialized skill set by overseeing the digital forensics and investigations program, managing program planning, policy development, and standards implementation. Additionally, your work will be dedicated to ensuring efficient management and remediation of security incidents across all Commonwealth agencies.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
• Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office inHarrisburg.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as an Information Security Specialist 2(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or
• Four years of experience performing technical work in information technology security, and an associate’s degree in any information technology field;or
• Two years of experience performing technical work in information technology security, and a bachelor’s degree in any information technology field;or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

• This particular position requires you topossess a CompTIA Security+ certification.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
