The role emphasizes troubleshooting, incident response, disaster recovery planning, and collaboration with IT teams and vendors.

Qualifications

Six years of hands-on experience with Windows servers, VMware, SANs, firewalls, and Cisco networking.
Associate or bachelor degree in IT fields with relevant hands-on experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Proficiency in supporting network and server infrastructure of varying complexity.
Hands-on experience with AD, VMware, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
At least one associate-level and one senior-level industry certification such as CISSP, CCNA/CCNP, MCSA/MCSE, VCP.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, implement, and support network, server, and storage infrastructure per project needs.
Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure problems.
Install and configure server and network hardware/software per security standards.
Provide security consulting and technical support for IT infrastructure across devices.
Lead technical projects and mentor junior staff.
Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams on security initiatives.
Contribute to disaster-recovery planning, testing, and documentation.
