Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Site Coverage in Corpus Christi, TX. You will patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle, monitor entrances and exits, and respond to emergencies while supporting client needs across healthcare, education, finance, retail, and more.

The position offers 30-40 hours per week with shifts that vary by schedule and a self-scheduling program. You must be adaptable, dependable, and ready for growth within a leading security company.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents and incidents; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
