Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Route Driver in ALVARADO, TX. This role offers reliable hours within a dynamic retail environment and a path toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

Pay rate is $16.31 per hour with a fixed Sunday 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM shift. The Earn More program lets you pick up extra shifts across sites to increase earnings while you gain experience.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Route Driver in ALVARADO, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.31 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and retail staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout luxury retail sales areas, fitting rooms, stock areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a high-end retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
