Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer who will serve and safeguard clients across healthcare, education, finance and more. You’ll use our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts based on availability, building a schedule that works for you while gaining site experience across industries.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment according to state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• As a condition of employment, candidates will undergo a background check as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed, per state requirements).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Must be able to operate radio/telephone equipment or console monitors.
• Good verbal and written communication; able to interact with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire in emergencies.
• Warn violators and enforce site rules, including loitering and safety policies.
• Permit access for authorized personnel and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors politely and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site post orders.
