Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Flex Officer for Access Control in New Braunfels, TX. The role includes patrolling, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed logs.

The position offers exposure to multiple client sites across healthcare, education, and finance sectors. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience, background check, and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted to the extent permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/console equipment and maintain professional interaction with the public.
• Effective oral and written communication skills; good documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rules and monitor entrances/exits.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor access points.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
