Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Vehicle Circuit Patrol in Flower Mound, TX. This role offers fixed shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across sites.

You will perform patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and prepare shift documentation. The role requires at least one year in security, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Vehicle Circuit Patrol in Flower Mound, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.58 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, or telecommunications location while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures; report suspicious activity, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security‑related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving position.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
